I started this business because I believe every firearm owner deserves honest guidance from someone who actually knows what they're talking about. Not a commission-driven sales floor. Not a big-box store where you're just a number. Just one guy who loves firearms and loves helping people.
When you come to Deer Ridge Armory, you're dealing directly with me — the owner, the technician, and the guy who will answer your questions straight. I started this shop because I saw too many people walk out of other stores confused, oversold, or just ignored. That's not how I operate. Whether you're buying your first handgun, getting a scope mounted before deer season, or transferring a firearm you found online, I treat every visit like it matters. Because it does.
I bring real-world experience across hunting, sport shooting, home defense, and gunsmithing. I stay current on laws, products, and best practices so the advice I give you is advice you can actually rely on.

Deer Ridge Armory is a locally owned Federal Firearms Licensee serving Bondurant and the surrounding Central Iowa community. I provide firearm transfers, firearm ordering, cleaning, optic mounting, bore sighting, and straightforward guidance for first-time buyers, hunters, sport shooters, and experienced firearm owners.
